REDD Intelligence Closes $5.8M Equity Funding to Accelerate Global Expansion, Expand Emerging Markets Research Offering and Open London Office

NEW YORK, August 6, 2020 /PRNewswire/ — REDD Intelligence, an online fixed income intelligence and analysis platform focused on emerging markets, today announced the closing of a $5.8 million equity financing round, effective immediately.

This is REDD’s first institutional financing and was led by Nassau Point Investors. Other investors include Neil OsbornPresident of REDD Intelligence and Thomas BarryPresident and CEO of Zephyr Management LP Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

Proceeds from the capital increase will be used to fund the launch of REDD’s Central & Eastern Europe, Middle Eastand Africa (CEEMEA) emerging market bond coverage expected later this summer. CEEMA coverage will be managed from the new London office and other key CEEMEA locations. The company said the launch will complement REDD’s offering in global emerging markets, which includes the company’s success Latin America and Asia platforms.

Proceeds will also be used for the further development of AI and alternative data technologies to support REDD’s focus on crediting opportunities related to events and special situations.

REDD also announced today that it welcomes new members to its Board of Directors under the leadership of the President Neil Osborn. New board members include:

  • Christopher FordhamCIO at Daily Mail and General Trust (DMGT) and former CEO of Euromoney Institutional Investor PLC.
